Research Techniques

Continuing work throughout unit 3, I have completed more work based on research. Starting with a research worksheet based on primary and secondary sources, qualitative and quantitative data. I gathered knowledge from this work and gained an understanding of what a primary and secondary source is, and also what qualitative and quantitative date is. After completing the work on this I finished off the questionnaire I earlier worked on by saying weather every individual part is a primary or secondary source. This work will help me throughout the assignment as I now have an understanding of it all and can refer back and involve this information in future work. I can also involve correct terminology while doing so. Next I carried out work in a group creating an info graphic. I studied and researched many info graphics on the internet to gain an understanding of what they are about and what they are used for. The info graphic our group created was all about audience research, and how the audience is studied in order to market products for them. I also looked at two other groups info graphics which were based on production and marketing. This work will help me in the future of the assignment as I now have an understanding of how to target my own products to a specific audience. Using knowledge i have gained on how to produce and market my products to a specific target audience I have great expectations for my work in the future of the assignment.

research techniques

On Friday the 13th 2012 I had been set a task in which I had to complete a question-air. The question-air included a variety of questions to be answered, to acquire the answers i could use several resources. For all of the answers i found i used books, asked questions, the internet and some I already knew. This activity was a great way to show that when it comes to researching there are a lot of ways to do it in collage, and getting the knowledge I need isn't too hard. It was a good interesting researching task and i look forward to even more research under unit 3.      

Initial proposal

For units 18, 3 and 4 I am to research, plan and produce three advertising products for my own company which I will create. Firstly I am to research and gain an understanding of the advertising industry in order to successfully produce three promotional products for the company I have created. I will produce my print based products by using Photoshop. I am also to show production management throughout, blogger is a good way to achieve this. I look forward to achieving a merit or distinction upon completion.
